Changing the way we treat our memories

Queensberry dates back to 1969 and Heather Baugh’s handcrafted leather business in Auckland, New Zealand. Today Queensberry remains a family business and Heather continues as creative director.

From the start, Heather cared deeply about the experiences that people have with the memories of their special days. She is driven still by the desire to create treasured objects to reflect and express people’s memories – exquisite, bespoke, handmade photographic albums and books.

Our album-makers and photographic technicians possess a wealth of history and experience, and live and breathe the Queensberry craft. They hand make each album and book from the finest materials, and print each photograph in the knowledge that our albums will hold treasured memories forever.

We select leathers from the finest tanneries, as well as the best man-made alternatives. Our papers and boards come from environmentally sustainable European mills. They're made to our specifications to ensure their suitability for long-term photographic presentation, and textured to enhance the paper’s natural qualities.

We're committed to creating the best bespoke albums in the world, and are proud that our products are treasured around the world for the memories they evoke and the stories they tell.

Our goal is to make each page you turn one to remember.

The Queensberry way

What distinguishes a Queensberry is the human touch.

We commissioned this brief movie to thank all the terrific people who make our albums, and who make us so proud. It lovingly reflects the time, skill and care that goes into creating every Queensberry.

The photographer shot the images, all real and unstaged, as we walked through the Lab and Bindery one afternoon.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the project, including the host of photographers whose work you can glimpse along the way.
